Deciding to undertake voluntary product certification means working towards continuous improvement.
For the highest standards, it is necessary to maintain established qualitative standards throughout periodic independent assessment activities.
SURE’s certification highlights the specific characteristics of our products that reach beyond safety and quality and communicates the product’s own unique value.
Cradle to Cradle
is a globally recognized measure of safer,
more sustainable products made for a circular economy.
To receive the certification, products are assessed for environmental and social performance across five critical sustainability categories:
- Material Health: Ensures materials are safe for humans and the environment
- Product Circularity: Supports a circular economy through regenerative products and process design
- Clean Air & Climate Protection: Promotes clean air, renewable energy, and harmful emissions reduction
- Water & Soil Stewardship: Supports clean water and healthy soils
- Social Fairness: Respects human rights and contributes to a fair and equitable society
For each category, an achievement level is assigned to the products (Basic, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum). A product’s lowest category achievement determines its overall certification level. Certification must be renewed every two years. GOLD certificates have been issued for all SURE products*.
The EU Ecolabel
is the official European Union
voluntary label recognizing environmental excellence.
To be awarded the EU Ecolabel, goods and services must meet high environmental standards throughout their entire lifecycle: from raw material extraction through production, distribution to disposal.
This cleaning category EU Ecolabel product criterion represents a holistic approach, ranging from limits on the use of hazardous substances, sustainable sourcing of raw materials, recyclability and design of packaging, to giving proper guidance for the product’s use.
